The University of Canberra's Student Loans Scheme is designed to provide financial assistance to students who are unable to obtain a loan via SERVICE ONE Members Banking.
The scheme is run by the Student Equity and Support Unit.
Cover Study Related Expenses
Examples include accommodation costs, the cost of textbooks and other study materials and transportation costs. Each quick loan application is considered on an individual basis.
The maximum loan amount which students are eligible for is $2,000.
Do you Qualify for a Loan?
In order to qualify for a student loan, you must have applied and been rejected for a SERVICE ONE Members Banking personal loan.
You must have paid all fees applicable to you. You need to provide a valid reason for requesting assistance which is related to your studies.
You have to present an invoice from third party product or service provider. You have to be able to pay back the loan. If you are a first-year domestic student or an international student, you need to have a guarantor.
